Longford Local Authorities Heritage Office, in partnership with the Heritage Council and supported by the national Tidy Towns competition, is hosting a day-long seminar in the County Longford Golf Club, Dublin Road, Longford on the 30th April 2010.

The Heritage Council's Grants Programme represents the most tangible manner in which Council can help individuals, groups and agencies to manage, develop and conserve those aspects of their heritage that they value the most.

The Longford Heritage Forum, in partnership with the Longford Heritage Office want to hear your views and ideas about heritage for the preparation of the next Longford Heritage Plan.  The Heritage Plan is a countywide action plan which aims to protect, enhance and promote awareness of heritage in Longford.

Architectural and Archaeological Heritage Projects 
The Minister for the Environment, Heritage & Local Government (DoEHLG) is inviting applicants from groups, such as charities, community groups, heritage groups as well as academic institutions and professional organisations for funding in 2009 for Architectural and Archaeological Heritage Projects from the Environment Fund.
