This townland lies on the road from Carrickboy to Ballinacarrow Bridge. It is surrounded by the townlands of Deer Park and Liscormick in this parish, Screeboge in Tagsheenod Ph., and Carrickboy, Corry, Corrycorka in the Parish of Kilglass.

It is the property of Col. Henry White, held by deed for ever. It contains 317 acres, the whole of which is cultivated except about 40 acres of bog. It pays �12 12s.10d.to Co. Cess. It has 3 ancient forts, and the road from Carrickboy to Ballinacarrow Bridge passes through it.
