This td. forms the N.W. end of the parish. It is surrounded by the tds. of Torboy and Loughan in this parish; Glenmore, Cartron, Cornahoo and Curry in Kilcommock Ph.; and Monascallaghan, Cloonmucker and Curraghmore in Moydow Ph.
It is the property of Lady Rosse, held by deed for ever. It contains 867a. 2r. 21p., about one-sixth of which is bog, about one-eighteenth rocky pasture, and the remainder cultivated. The roads are good, and it pays to Co. Cess �61 18s. 4. It has on its N. side the ruin of Abbeyderg and two ancient forts, and the road from Keenagh to Longford runs through its centre. It contains 2a. 3r. 2p. of water.
