Lanesborough Branch Library

There are lots of things to do at Lanesboro Branch Library. Search the library’s online catalogue to view the wide range of books available for adults and children.There are internet access P.C’s available as well as access to online databases such as Ordnance Survey Maps, Census 1901 and 1911 and Griffith's Valuation Online. 

The library also organises a number of exhibitions, book launches,information evenings, lectures and readings as well as a wide range programme of childrens’ activities during the year.

Library Book Club

Lanesboro Library hosts a book club for adults which meets on the last Friday of each month from 11am-12pm. New members are always welcomed.

Knitting & Crochet Club

Knitting & Crochet Club meet every Monday 2-4pm.

Poetry & Music Circle

Poetry & Music Circle meet 2nd & 4th Monday of each month 4.15-5.30pm

ESOL Classes (English for Speakers of other languages)

ESOL Classes (English for Speakers of other languages) are held by ETB on a Tuesday evening at 7pm at Lanesboro Library during school term time – Sept to May. Contact  for information
