Children's Book Festival

Design a Bookmark Competition 2020

 

As part of  our ‘Children’s Book Festival’, Longford Libraries ran a very successful ‘Design a Bookmark’ competition. We had almost 450 entries and the standard were extremely high. After much deliberation by our judges, we are delighted to announce our winners –

  

4-8 age category

1st: Eoghan Sullivan,  Bawn The Pigeons, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Age 8.

9-13 age category

1st: Sarah McDermott, Moydow, Co. Longford. Age 11.

The first-place design in each age category will be printed professionally and will be available in all our Library Branches. Each of the six children has received a National Book Token.  Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone who entered this competition.
