Longford Library

Longford Library

Longford Library is located in the heart of Longford town adjacent to Longford Town Centre. It is the flagship library for the county, with many services and activities for the local community.

The library welcomes members with an extensive selection of books for both children and adults. There is free WIFI and access to Microsoft Office programmes, such as Word and Excel, to help people at work or study. The library also has the Driver Theory CD for learner drivers to practice with.

Longford Library also offers eduroam. This is a WiFi service which enables students, researchers and employees from participating institutions to securely access the internet at their college or university and whilst visiting other participating institutions.

As with all Longford Libraries, Longford Library also offers access to many online resources, including the Ordnance Survey Maps Online, Griffiths Valuation, 1901 and 1911 Census Online.
