County Longford Heritage Plan 2019-2024

County Longford Heritage Plan-2019-2024 aims to encourage engagement and appreciation of Longford’s heritage for the enjoyment of all, as well as developing and supporting its protection for future generations. It also incorporates the Longford Biodiversity Action Plan.

It was prepared by the County Longford Heritage Forum. The Longford Heritage Forum is a partnership group set up by Longford County Council. It is made up of elected representatives, Longford County Council employees, representatives from local community and heritage groups, regional and state agencies, local development groups, as well as the farming, education and business sectors. The Forum is facilitated by the Longford County Council Heritage Officer.
