County Longford has six libraries, in Ballymahon, Drumlish, Edgeworthstown, Granard, Lanesborough and Longford.
Our network of libraries aims to provide a welcoming space for all, with inclusion and accessibility at the heart of what we do.
And while we have plenty of books to keep you entertained or and quiet spaces to help you learn, we also have many more things you may have not considered! These include the lending of musical instruments and Handy Helps, where people can borrow items to help them out in their home! We also offer language learning supports to help with literacy, magazine and newspapers, and free internet access for all our members.
LongfordLibrary.ie is home to Archives and Local Studies and Heritage to help you delve into the past. Longford Library is now also proudly the home of Longford Arts which has many cultural activities happening in County Longford!
