This townland lies on the road from Abbeyshrule to Moyvore, and on the road from Ballymahon to Abbeyshrule. It is surrounded by the townlands of Drumanure and Cloon-brin in this parish, by those of Kilphierish and Big Williamstown in the parish of Piercetown, Co. Westmeath, and by Clynan Td. in the parish of Forgney. This townland is the property of the Countess Dowager of Ross, held by deed for ever.
