This island is the most westerly of the Black Islands. It stands about 9� chains S. of Sand Island and about 15 chains W. of Nut Island. It has 2 small islands on its South, one about 150 links, the other about 7 chains.
It is the property of Sir George Featherston and contains about 17 acres. It is poor land. There are 3 houses in its N. end. It pays no Cess and is 134 feet above low water mark.
