This td. is situated in a central part of the parish. It is bounded on the N. by Laragh and Cartronboy; on the E. by Castlecore in this ph. and by Garrynagh in Nougheval Ph.; on the S. by Glebe No. 1, Shrule, Glebe No. 2 and Drumnacor; and on the W. by Gorteen.
It contains 412a. 2r. 4p., of which about ⅓ is bog and rocky ground; the remainder under cultivation. It is hilly and the houses are in bad repair. It is the property of Lady Rosse, held by a deed for ever, and pays �17 4s. Co. Cess.
