Lies in the S.W. corner of the parish, and is bounded on the S. and W. by Lough Ree; N. by Ballynahinch Td.; and E. by Glebe, Elfeet Adamson and Loughfarm Tds.
Contains 317� acres, all arable and pasture except about 40 acres of plantation. It has a valuable limestone quarry, a neat church and one in ruin, a fort and a neat lodge, the summer residence of Sir George Featherstone, who is the proprietor of the td. It pays �23 8s 10d. to Co. Cess.
