Situated on the eastern boundary of the parish, about 2� miles from Newtownforbes. Contains 333 acres.
This townland is all under cultivation. The greater part of the houses in it are combined in two villages, viz. Upper and Lower Briskil. The latter is situated
in the W. corner of the td. at the junction of the road from Newtownforbes to Drumlish and a bye road leading to Longford; the former is situated near the eastern boundary of the townland.
