This td. lies on the S. side of Kilglass Ph., on the. road from Longford to Ardagh. It is bounded by the tds. of Carn, Ballyglassin and Corry in this parish, by Tennalough in Agharra Ph., and by Screeboge in Taghsheenod Ph.
It is the property of Mr. White, held by deed for ever. It contains 149a. Or. 2p., all cultivated except about 26 acres of bog and about 4 acres of wood. Carrickboy Village lies in the S.E. of the townland, in which there is a police barrack. County Cess (with Corry Td,) - �17 4s. 10.
