This td. lies along the W. boundary of the parish, on the road from Longford to Ballymahon, and is bounded by the tds. of Garrycam, Cloonagh and Knocknaskea in this parish; by the tds. of Ballybeg, Carrickedmond, Loughsheedan, Mornin and Cloonkeen in Taghsheenod Ph.; by the tds. of Castlereagh Mountain and Bawn Mountain in Moydow Ph.; and by Lisduff Td. in Ardagh Ph.
It is the property of the Countess Dowager of Rosse, held by deed for ever, and contains 740a. 2r. 9p., all cultivated except about 8 acres of bog. There is house built and supported by the Countess Dowager Rosse and Mrs. Jessop. Co. Cess - �10 12s. 7d.
